PPA Next Gen Awards

Open to all media professionals born on or after 30 June 1996.

Simply highlight your role, achievements, address the criteria below, and upload your supporting documents.

Judges will be looking for the below so ensure your entry demonstrates:

• How the entrant meets/ exceeds role KPIs

• Showcase the quality of work produced

• Highlight the individual contribution to overall brand or business strategy

• Provide examples of innovation, creativity, and impact

PPA Student of the Year

Each year, as part of the PPA Next Gen Awards, we search for the future creators of our industry, via our Student of the Year initiative. This recognises students who have showcased exceptional work during their studies, and display promise to be the talent of tomorrow.

PPA Undergraduate Student of the Year

Open to all current final-year undergraduate students on PPA accredited courses, as well as recent graduates of these courses (2025).

Detail your successes in a 200 word personal statement, upload two-three pieces of original work (written editorial, audio, video, socials etc), and include a 200 word supporting statement from your course leader.

Judges will be looking for evidence of:

  • Skill, craft and attention to detail appropriate to discipline
  • Originality, creativity and individuality in approach
  • Ambition, initiative and willingness to develop skills
  • Commitment to learning and development

PPA Postgraduate Student of the Year

Open to all current final-year postgraduate students on PPA accredited courses, as well as recent graduates of these courses (2025).
